Poppy appeal 'most important yet'
Guernsey British Legion says the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq make this year's Poppy appeal more important than ever before.

The appeal raises money to help support ex-servicemen and women and their families.

Brigadier Barry Cash is urging islanders to be generous.

In Jersey a service to dedicate the Field of Remembrance at the Cenotaph was led by the Dean, the Very Reverend Bob Key.
