| Sunday, 11 January, 1998, 13:36 GMT Bomb explodes in French school overnight The mayor of the eastern French city of Strasbourg, Roland Ries, has said there has been a wave of vandalism on public buildings and transport in recent months. Mr Ries was speaking after an overnight bomb attack on a school in Strasbourg, which caused extensive damage but no injuries. Correspondents say there's been concern that high unemployment among young people is behind a rise in lawlessness in France.
