Spanish police have arrested 21 suspects in a crackdown on the Spanish branch of an international neo-Nazi group called Blood and Honour. The group is accused of staging concerts where they would encourage xenophobia, racism, anti-Semitism and the use of violence.
Police seized weapons and Nazi paraphernalia in raids in five Spanish cities including Madrid and Seville.
The group is thought to have branches across Europe and in the United States.
The suspects were arrested on charges of crimes against civil liberties, defending the Holocaust and possessing and trafficking in weapons.
The Spanish Civil Guard said the group had operated since 1999, keeping in touch with its members via the internet and fanzines.
