At least 29 people have been injured in a collision involving three underground trains in the Spanish city of Valencia, local officials say. Four people were seriously hurt, councillor Miguel Peralta said.
The crash happened on the Number One line 5km (3 miles) south-east of the city centre.
Mr Peralta said the first train had been stationary. The second used its emergency brakes to avoid a collision, but was hit by a third train.
The force of the impact severely damaged the drivers' cabs at the front of the last train and at the rear of the second train.
A 50-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were among those seriously injured, the Efe news agency reports.
