Half term treats at Jersey Zoo
Gorillas at Jersey Zoo
Themed activity workshops are being held at Jersey Zoo
Jersey's youngsters are being encouraged to learn more about wildlife this half term.

Monday sees the start of five days of themed activity workshops on a different wildlife and conservation topic at Jersey's Zoo.

Various hands-on workshops; Use your Senses, Mobile Madness, Snakes Alive, Wild Islands and Wild Wolf are being offered to children aged between seven and 12-years-old in the island.

There will be animal badge, key ring and fridge-magnet-making sessions as well in the Princess Royal Pavilion throughout the holiday week.

And Sunday morning Dodolings Club sessions for three to six-year-olds are also being reintroduced in November.

These workshops are run by Jersey Zoo's conservation education team.

They give children the chance to get up close to some of the animals in the zoo classroom as well as making arts and crafts and telling stories.
