Lifeboat returns after refit
Alexander Coutanche
The Alexander Coutanche was also painted during its refit
The St Helier lifeboat is back in Jersey after receiving a refit in Portsmouth.

The Alexander Coutanche has had its engine room firefighting equipment replaced with a more environmentally-friendly one.

The relief boat, the Good Shepherd, has now been taken to Devon while it has the same refurbishment.

During its stay, St Helier lifeboat mechanic Jonathan Cornick has painted the entire deck and parts of the engine room.
