A teacher from the Channel Islands will be funded by the organisation Education Action to go to work in Sudan from 10-17 October.
It aims to link regional schools with its projects abroad to raise the profile of its work and the education issues affecting developing countries.
Raise money
During the trip the teacher will have a video link-up to send information to their school and the local community.
Flights, accommodation and food are all paid for.
But Education Action is asking the schools taking part to help it raise money for its projects.
