An ambulance from Jersey has successfully been delivered to one of Europe's poorest countries. The Mustard Seed charity has spent the past week delivering the donation from Jersey's St John Ambulance to Moldova.
They have also delivered 12 tonnes of aid to Romania.
Rose Hellie, from Mustard Seed, says the ambulance has been well received.
She said: "The one we're replacing was in a terrible state.
"When we drove the ambulance in and got it to the hospital it was obvious that we were causing quite a stir because as someone said, they would only see a white ambulance like that in a movie."
Mustard Seed is an Eastbourne-based Christian charity which has been transporting relief for nine years to parts of the world affected by war or poverty.
