Bank holiday travellers to and from the Channel Islands have had their plans disrupted by bad weather.
Rough seas have caused ferry companies serving the islands to alter their timetables and cancel sailings.
Predicted gale force winds on Friday afternoon and into the evening have forced Emeraude Lines and Condor Ferries to make contingency plans for later.
Passengers travelling with the companies are being asked to confirm their bookings before setting off from home.
Emeraude Lines brought forward its 1330 Solidor 5 departure to St Malo from Jersey to 1300 to try and beat the wind.
Its 1830 and 2200 arrivals from St Malo have been cancelled.
Condor Ferries have cancelled their fast ferry sailings arriving at 1955 from Poole and Guernsey to Jersey and going to Guernsey and Weymouth from Jersey at 2035.
The company says other sailings are under review but some are set to sail as normal.
