Conference to tackle housing issue
The issue of the provision of housing for Guernsey people with learning disabilities will be tackled this week.

The fifth annual conference of the Guernsey Advocacy Service, which will be held at La Villette Hotel, is taking place on Wednesday, starting at 0930 GMT.

About 60 people are expected to attend the event.

The guest speaker for the day is Carl Blackmore,

He is from a Jersey-based housing project for people with learning difficulties which is supported by Mencap.
