Footes Lane grandstand
The grandstand is due to be completed in March
Guernsey's 1.2m grandstand at Footes Lane is nearing completion.

The Chairman and Chief Executive of the Garenne Group, Stuart Falla, who is also the Chairman of the Island Games Organising Committee, is hopeful the stand will be completed by 21 March.

It means the facility will be up and running well ahead of the start of the Island Games in June.

Landscaping, and car park facilities still need to be completed, but Mr Falla has said he is confident everything will be in place by the time the curtain goes up on the 2003 games.
