A British skier has died after an avalanche in the French Alps. Mark Wilson, 29, was skiing off-piste in the resort of Val d'Isere when the avalanche happened on Tuesday.
Two other British skiers who were with him have been released after hospital treatment.
Heavy snowfall has brought a heightened risk of avalanches in the area.
Mr Wilson, from Yorkshire, is the third British man to have died in the French Alps since the weekend.
On Sunday a mountain climber and a snowboarder, both from Britain, died after accidents in the French Alps.
A snowboarder also died last Thursday in the Mont Blanc region.
