| | Thursday, 11 July, 2002, 17:10 GMT 18:10 UK In pictures: Mourning Srebrenica's dead Thousands of people gathered in a field near the Bosnian town of Srebrenica to remember the victims of the civil war massacre there in 1995. Investigators are still recovering remains from the 7,000 Muslim men and boys killed there by Bosnian Serb forces.  Thousands of Muslims returned to the scene of the mass executions  Tensions remain in the Serb-controlled area and the mourners were under police guard  The mourners compared the massacre to the 11 September terror attacks  Many of those present were widows of men killed in the massacre  One widow, Ibrima Oric, has returned to the ruins of her home in Srebrenica  Forensic experts are still working to identify the remains of victims | |
