| Monday, 9 April, 2001, 22:26 GMT 23:26 UK British helicopter crashes in Kosovo A British military helicopter has crashed in a mountainous area of Kosovo, killing two of the seven people on board. Other crew members are being treated at an American military hospital near the crash scene. A Defence Ministry spokesman in London said he had no information about the cause of the crash. But he said there was no indication, as he put it, of any hostile action against the helicopter. NATO officials said it went down in heavy rain, close to Kosovo's border with Macedonia.
