A team of Finnish forensic scientists has released a summary of its report on the killings of forty Kosovo Albanians in the village of Racak two years ago.

The scientists said they could confirm that the bodies they'd examined and the bullets they'd found were from the same location.

After the recent release of another inconclusive report by members of the Finnish team, Serbian officials had said the scientists had exonerated Belgrade -- even though the killings at Racak are included in the United Nations war crimes tribunal's indictment against the former Yugoslav president, Slobodan Milosevic. The Finns say that, as pathologists, it's not their task to say who killed the Kosovo Albanians at Racak, or what the motive was.
