Was Debbie Harry an icon for the New York punk era?

Blondie lead singer, Debbie Harry has been compared to Marylin Monroe and Jackie Kennedy whose photographic images became works of art.

She became a defining image of the New York punk era and now photographer Brian Aris is showing unseen pictures of Blondie in an exhibition at the Proud Gallery in London.

Brian Aris explains what made Debbie Harry such an iconic image for him.
