Boxer Joe Bugner has been booted out of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after losing out in a head-to-head challenge with actor Stuart Manning.

The pair were sent to "jungle jail" after receiving the fewest public votes - Manning worked out how to escape before Bugner and was allowed to stay.

"I didn't want to go, I wanted to stay to the end... the experience alone was fantastic," said Bugner.

Seven celebrities remain in the ITV1 show, which finishes on 4 December.

Chef tipped

Bugner had plenty to say in his exit interview about his jungle companion Kim Woodburn - star of How Clean Is Your House? - who he often sparred with.

"Good God I love Kim but gosh, she could have talked the leg off an iron pot... this lady could talk and talk and talk," he told hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

TV chef Gino D'Acampo is favourite to win the reality show.
