It was the second time that Wilding and Vilani had been in the dance-off |
Crimewatch presenter Rav Wilding has become the third celebrity to be voted off BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing. The former soldier and policeman was the judges unanimous choice after appearing to forget his steps in a dance-off with Lynda Bellingham. The judges agreed that Wilding and his partner Aliona Vilani's quickstep was inferior to Bellingham's paso doble. For the first time this year, the remaining couples went head-to-head in the BBC TV competition. Wilding and Vilani danced to the Grease song We Go Together but even a cartwheel by him at the end of their routine could not save them. The result means the favourites to take this year's title, the actors Ricky Whittle and Ali Bastian, remain in the competition.
