As well as writing and singing her own material, Florrie Arnold is the drummer in one of the Xenomania house bands, JFK, which also features Jason Resch (below).
ALEX GARDNER
Eighteen-year-old Scottish singer Alex Gardner, blessed with boyish charm and a sophisticated, radio-ready sound, is being positioned as the male Duffy.
GOLDMARK
Gez O'Connell was singer with indie also-rans The Rushes, who had a major record deal. He has now set out on his own with an impassioned dance sound that has been described as Coldplay in Ibiza.
JESSIE MALAKOUTI
Twenty-one-year-old Los Angeles native Jessie Malakouti is a colourful, ambitious, out-and-out pop princess who has been compared to Gwen Stefani and has supported The Saturdays.
NITEVISIONS
Electro duo NiteVisions are Andy and John Taylor, the sons of Duran Duran members Andy and Roger Taylor. Their 80s sound and image is influenced by their fathers as well as Depeche Mode and Gary Numan.
JASON RESCH
Jason Resch is an effortlessly cool and confident Australian singer and guitarist who co-wrote songs including The Promise for Girls Aloud and The Boy Does Nothing for Alesha Dixon.
