Friend says Jacko death 'avoidable'

Court papers from Texas have revealed that Michael Jackson had a powerful anaesthetic, Propofol, in his blood when he died.

The documents related to a search of the Houston offices of the singer's doctor, Conrad Murray, who was at Jackson's LA home when he died. He denies any wrong-doing, reportedly saying that he was trying wean the star off the drug that he was taking for insomnia.

The singer's friend Mark Lester says the tragedy should have been avoided.
