Animated film Monsters vs Aliens has reclaimed top spot in the UK and Ireland box office, toppling Vin Diesel thriller Fast and Furious. The Dreamworks cartoon, which made its debut at number one two weeks ago, just sneaked ahead of its rival with £128,000 more in ticket sales. US comedy I Love You, Man entered the chart at number four, followed by action sequel Crank 2 at five. British satirical comedy In The Loop came in at eight at limited cinemas. Other movies in the top 10 slipped, including pirate radio caper The Boat That Rocked, Race To Witch Mountain and Knowing. But Zac Efron vehicle 17 Again held steady at number three in the same weekend that it topped the North American box office chart. Monsters vs Aliens scored the biggest box office debut of the year so far in the US. The film features the voices of Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon, Kiefer Sutherland and Seth Rogan.
