The boy, Roan Joseph Bronstein, was born on 22 May to a teenager in Texas, and the couple adopted him privately a week later, spokeswoman Cindi Berger said. Stone, 42, and Bronstein, 47, are "simply elated", she added. "They are both taking care of him and having the time of their lives together," she said. 'Little Buddha' In an interview with US weekly magazine Us, Stone describes the boy as her "wonderful, precious little Buddha". He was born several weeks early, weighting five pounds, six ounces. The magazine reports Stone and Bronstein, who is executive editor of the San Francisco Examiner, found the boy's natural mother through a lawyer. The actress - best known for her part in 1992's Basic Instinct - has suffered several miscarriages in the past. She said the baby sleeps peacefully most of the time, and is "the apple of his daddy's eye". Roan is Celtic for seal, a magical animal in that mythology, while the baby's middle name is a tribute to Stone's father. | See also: Internet links: The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites Top Entertainment stories now: Links to more Entertainment stories are at the foot of the page. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
