PM on Jade Goody 'tragedy'

Gordon Brown has said that the whole country was sad for Jade Goody, who is terminally ill with cancer.

The prime minister was reacting to the news that her fiance, Jack Tweed, has had his curfew conditions relaxed to allow the couple to spend their wedding night together.

He said everyone had sympathy for the reality TV star, although he mistakenly called her "Jane" Goody.
