Oscar-nominated drama Slumdog Millionaire is at the top of the UK box office for the second week in a row. The British film, which is up for 10 Academy Awards including best picture, has taken �14.2m since it opened. Tom Cruise's latest release Valkyrie is still in second place, followed by new release Revolutionary Road, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. My Bloody Valentine 3D fell one place to number four, while Beverly Hills Chihuahua rounds off the top five. Director Danny Boyle is favourite to win an Oscar after he was named best director by the Directors Guild of America recently. Will Smith's movie Seven Pounds fell from fourth place to sixth this week. Comedy romance Bride Wars, starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway, remained at number seven. At number eight was Role Models, with Underworld: Rise of the Lycans in ninth place. Romantic comedy Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, starring Michael Cera and Kat Dennings, debuted at number 10.
