David Morrissey is best known for his TV work but is returning to the stage for the first time in 10 years in American writer Neil LaBute's In a Dark Dark House.
But on the Andrew Marr show he remained tight-lipped on his future in Doctor Who, where he is to star in the Christmas special on BBC One amid speculation he is to take over from David Tennant.
