Foster's routine was branded "awkward" by the judges |
Olympic swimmer Mark Foster has become the sixth celebrity to be voted out of Strictly Come Dancing. Foster lost out in the dance-off to GMTV presenter Andrew Castle, who was saved by each of the show's judges. Despite wearing a revealing top, the sportsman's Paso Doble routine was described as a "painful shambles" and scored just 16 points out of 40. Judge Bruno Tonioli said to Foster in Saturday's live show: "You look like a god, but you dance like a geek." After being eliminated from the competition, the swimmer said of his professional dance partner Hayley Holt she was "the best". "I've had the best time - sorry I let you down," he added. Rugby player Austin Healy, Holby City actor Tom Chambers and singer Rachel Stevens topped the judges' leader board in a week that couples performed either the Paso Doble or Viennese Waltz. Next week's show will see a change to the format, with each of the couples performing different dances.
