US rock band The Kings of Leon have stayed at number one in the singles chart with Sex on Fire. Katy Perry, who was knocked off the top spot by the band last week, stayed at number two with I Kissed a Girl spending a ninth week on the chart. The Pussycat Dolls moved up a place to number three with When I Grow Up. Rockers Metallica remain at number one in the album chart with Death Magnetic while Ne-Yo's Year of the Gentleman was a new entry at number two. Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad stayed at number three and Duffy's Rockferry moved up from five to four. There were new entries in the album chart for Queen & Paul Rodgers with The Cosmos Rocks, at number five, and The Streets, with Everything is Borrowed, at number seven. Comeback single In the singles chart, McFly leapt from 23 to number four with Lies. Gym Class Heroes rose six places to number six with Cookie Jar while Ne-Yo also jumped - from 14 to nine - with his single, Miss Independent. There was a new entry at number 10 for Will Young with his comeback single Changes. Sir Cliff Richard's single to celebrate his 50 years in the chart, meanwhile, has dropped out of the top 10 after just one week. The 67-year-old's Thank You For a Lifetime dropped from three to 12. Sir Cliff has had a top five hit in every decade since the 1950s.
