Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has said that her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole is back on track following tabloid speculation about his fidelity. In an interview with Jonathan Ross, to be aired Friday, the singer showed off her wedding ring and said: "I was tempted to put it back on his head!" 'Potato head' "We just didn't talk about it, it's all water under the bridge, we're both grown women," the singer told Ross. "There's more arguing going on with Simon and Louis." Speaking about press interest in her life, the singer said: "There's no such thing as a private life in this industry. "I spoke openly about my marriage in the past and it's come back to hit me in the face. I learnt from the past that you shouldn't do that. "All the tabloids have to fill their pages when we're not doing anything, it just rolls on. "Lies would really get to me at one point, it really hurt, but now I think, whatever," said Cole. The singer, who came to prominence after winning a place in pop group Girls Aloud on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, married England and Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole in 2006.
