Oasis are using buskers to showcase their new album in New York after they were forced to cancel a concert.
The gig was called off as Noel Gallagher continues to recover from injuries caused after a fan attacked him on stage in Canada.
Gallagher wrote on the band's website that it felt like he had been sparring with champion boxer Ricky Hatton.
The street performances will take place at locations including Grand Central Station, and will be filmed.
'Severe tickling'
The event, sponsored by New York city officials, will see four new songs from Dig Out Your Soul played around the city, including Bag It Up and The Turning.
A number of musical acts will also perform new single The Shock of The Lightning, which is released worldwide on 29 September.
The band's cancelled New York concert was due to take place at the city's Terminal 5 venue.
Fans have been advised to seek refunds at the point of purchase.
In his latest blog posting, Noel Gallagher said he "spent all day in bed suffering from my severe tickling".

The incident took place at Oasis's V Festival performance in Canada
"I did get to watch four Seinfelds, though, and some American Football. So not too dissimilar to a normal day back home," added Gallagher of his recuperation in the US.
He was admitted to hospital after the attack in Toronto, in which he fell heavily on some stage equipment when a man invaded the stage and pushed him.
Daniel Sullivan, 47, from Toronto, has been charged in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile, Oasis are poised to launch a songbook version of four tracks from their new album.
Fans will be able to download the sheet music and vocal melodies of the tracks from Tuesday and then submit their renditions to YouTube.
The successful entrants will win a trip to see Oasis play at any concert around the world.
UK fans will be able to purchase a collector's edition of the songbook in the next issue of NME magazine.
