And if neither of them appeal, there's always the world's most expensive shoes, designed by Gina, with 18-carat gold buckles and 72 diamonds between them - a mere snip at �18,000.

But the sale is not just about jewellery. Speed freaks can bid for a �160,000 power boat, similar to the one featured in The World Is Not Enough James Bond movie, or a Jasper Conran-designed Mazda MX5, valued at �35,000.

Red Cross spokesman Jeremy Hughes said: "This exciting initiative is another excellent way to raise vital funds for British Red Cross services, which meet the continual needs of people affected by national disasters, major incidents or personal crises at home or abroad."

Bidding starts on 18 May, and offers will be accepted until 30 May.
