Jolie hospital 'beats paparazzi'

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
Jolie is resting until she gives birth in "the weeks to come"

The French hospital where Angelina is to give birth to twins says it is "totally impossible" for paparazzi to get photos of the film star.

Pictures of Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt in their room have appeared in magazines, but the Lenval hospital in Nice said they were "posed fakes".

Spokeswoman Nadine Bauer said windows had been coated with a material which prevented lenses seeing through them.

Jolie is resting after being admitted to the hospital earlier this month.

A statement released by the hospital said: "Any pictures released are either posed fakes set up by paparazzi or they are pictures of other patients.

"We hope this is clearly understood out of respect for all patients in this clinic."

At a brief news conference last week, Jolie's obstetrician said the actress was doing fine.

Dr Michel Sussmann said she would remain in the hospital until the babies are delivered "in the weeks to come".
