German techno group Scooter have knocked Madonna off the number one spot in the UK album chart. Jumping All Over the World, the group's first UK album since 2002, went straight in as a new entry. It is a surprising chart topper as the group have released only two singles in the UK over the past five years and both failed to break the Top 40. Madonna's 4 Minutes, featuring Justin Timberlake, held onto the singles top spot for a fourth week. Def Leppard's 14th album, Songs from the Sparkle Lounge, was the next highest new entry on the album chart at number 10. Duffy remained at number three with Rockferry, with Sam Sparro rising one place to four. | UK TOP FIVE ALBUMS 1. Scooter - Jumping All Over the World 2. Madonna - Hard Candy 3. Duffy - Rockferry 4. Portishead's first album for 10 years - Third - fell three places to complete the top five. New entries included "Best of" albums by country legend Willie Nelson at 16 and 60s group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons at 25. In the singles chart, Wiley's Wearing my Rolex and Sam Sparro's Black and Gold are non-movers at two and three, followed by Heartbreaker by Will.i.am, featuring Cheryl Cole, which rose four places. Usher's Love in this Club fell one place to complete the top five. The highest new entry was Violet Hill by Coldplay at eight. The band had given away the single for free at the end of April for a week and it was downloaded by two million people. But as it was given away, it was not eligible to be included in the official UK chart at the time.
