Indie band Scouting for Girls have held on to the number one spot in the UK album chart for a second week.

And Swedish DJ Basshunter has stayed at the top of the UK singles chart for the third week running with his dance hit Now You're Gone.

Newcomer Adele's Chasing Pavements remained in second spot, while Nickleback jumped from number six to three with Rockstar.

Britney Spears swapped places, with Piece of Me dropping from three to six.

Scouting for Girls' album of the same name includes the hit Elvis Ain't Dead, which also kept its place at number eight in the singles chart.

Rihanna swapped her singles chart position with Lupe Fiasco, moving up to number four with Don't Stop the Music, with Fiasco's Superstar now at five.

Fiasco's album The Cool entered the chart at number seven.
