John Burton Race completed the "Dreadful Drop" Bushtucker Trial |
John Burton Race has become the latest I'm a Celebrity contestant to be thrown out of the Australian jungle. The public decided the TV chef should leave the ITV1 show on the same day he completed the "Bushtucker Trial".
After his eviction, Mr Burton Race said that the 14 days he had spent in the jungle had been a "magical experience". He had found PR guru and fellow contestant Lynne Franks "completely objectionable" but added that he had made some "very close" friends.
He described former model Janice Dickinson as "a bonkers, mental, outspoken, loud, camera-hogging diva show-off", but insisted that he had "really liked her".
Earlier, the chef and ex-boyband member Jason "J" Brown had completed the "Dreadful Drop" Bushtucker Trial.
The pair were suspended in a box over a creek and had to winch themselves along a rope.
Former Catatonia singer Cerys Matthews received a shock when a letter from ex-EastEnder Marc Bannerman, who had previously been evicted from the show, was delivered to her.
Mr Bannerman had flirted with her despite having a long-term girlfriend, actress Sarah Matravers.
