Boyzone are to get back together for this month's BBC Children In Need appeal, it has been confirmed. The Irish boy band, who have sold more than 15 million records, will perform a medley of their hits on the fundraising show on 16 November.
Boyzone split seven years ago when lead singer Ronan Keating went solo.
Keating and fellow members Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham and and Keith Duffy enjoyed 16 top four singles, including six number ones.
The group have not commented on reports they are planning to tour after the Children In Need performance.
Keating said the group had been talking about getting back together for some time and they were now excited to finally be going ahead with the reunion.
He said: "We haven't got any plans to release a new album but we will see what happens."
