Kyle (right) will be broadcasting on 42 stations in England and Wales

Kyle, whose ITV1 talk show was described as "trash" by a judge last month, will present a weekly two-hour programme on 42 commercial stations.

Beginning on 20 October, the show will go out on Capital 95.8 in London, BRMB in Birmingham and others at the same time as Ross's BBC Radio 2 programme.

Kyle's show, like Ross's, will be a mix of music and celebrity guests.

Pete Simmons of GCap Media, which runs the 42 stations in The One Network in England and Wales, said he was "delighted" to have Kyle on board.

'Strong offering'

"Jeremy is a captivating personality," he said. "His show will provide a strong offering for our listeners on a Saturday morning."

Kyle began his career in local radio and got his big break hosting the late-night Confessions show on Virgin Radio, later taking the programme to Capital.

Last month, Manchester District Judge Alan Berg said the show was "a form of human bear-baiting" while trying one of its guests for attacking another.
