Thandie Newton said co-star Simon Pegg was the butt of her pranks |
Actress Thandie Newton has confessed to being a practical joker on the set of her latest movie. The Bafta winner admitted to replacing water with vodka for her Run, Fat Boy, Run co-star Simon Pegg and covering up the toilet with cling film.
"He is extremely easy to do these things to. I got him, what a sap!" said Newton at the film's London premiere.
Director and ex-Friends star David Schwimmer has dubbed the actress "the queen of practical jokes".

Newton, who won the best supporting actress Bafta for her role in Crash, said she had to put on weight to play Libby, a pregnant woman who was jilted at the altar by Dennis, Pegg's character.
He decides to win her back by running a marathon, despite being out of condition.
"I didn't go crazy. It wasn't required, but they just wanted me to stop exercising. That was easy," said the actress.
"And then I turned up having done that and Simon had prosthetic tits and arse and I thought, 'That's not fair, I could have done that!'"
Schwimmer, who has made his directorial debut with Run, Fat Boy, Run, has said that he would like to work with comics Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant in the future.
