British pop star Natasha Bedingfield has rescheduled her forthcoming UK tour because of "promotional commitments" in the US, according to a statement.

The Grammy-nominated singer had been due to kick off her 22-date tour on 2 September in Belfast.

The 25-year-old, who is due to release her first album in the US, has moved the tour back to February next year.

Earlier this month the singer completed a European tour as Justin Timberlake's support act.

Bedingfield, who is the younger sister of fellow singer Daniel, performed at the tribute concert for Princess Diana last month.
