 Cage stars as a Las Vegas magician with unusual powers |
Next, a sci-fi thriller starring Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore, has topped the UK box office. The film, which made �795,000, took over the John Travolta comedy Wild Hogs at number one after two weeks.
Next sees Cage playing a Las Vegas magician who can see two minutes into the future, and FBI attempts to use his talent to foil a terrorist plot.
Sir Anthony Hopkins' thriller Fracture and Mr Bean's Holiday also featured in the top 10.

Period drama The Painted Veil and Indian film Ta Ra Rum Rum were the only two new entries in the UK top 10, in what proved a lacklustre week at the box office.
This is England, from British director Shane Meadows, just missed the top 10, taking �207,676 in its opening week.
Internationally, road movie Wild Hogs maintains its hold on to the box office, taking $7.2m (�3.59m) to reach a total haul of $55m (�27.4m) outside Canada and North America.
Mr Bean's Holiday added a further $7.1m (�3.54m), taking its total international gross to more than $150m (�74.8m).
