Mills McCartney will star in US TV show Dancing With The Stars |
Heather Mills McCartney, estranged wife of former Beatle Sir Paul, has said she will always love her husband and does not look for press attention. "I'm not a publicity seeker... I haven't gone round promoting things to finance my own pockets," the animal rights activist told BBC News 24.
She added that she would "never get over" her relationship breakdown and "would always love Paul".
Mills was being interviewed about her protest against pig farming practices.
Amicable
The former model and Sir Paul recently returned to the High Court in London for their ongoing divorce proceedings.
When asked how the court case was going, Mills told the BBC: "We're not anywhere... it will go on. Ask Paul, it's up to him. It's absolutely nothing to do with me."
But she insisted the divorce was amicable.
"I've never ever spoken badly about my husband... I never will, he's the father of my child.

"But there are huge powers, I don't have that powerful system that he has. There are huge powers that create these things for reasons of their own."
Mills said the papers "write a load of rubbish".
"I sue them, I generally win, then they write a two-line apology."
She added there "was a huge agenda behind trying to destroy me and knock me down... but I'll never lower myself to that level to even get involved and comment on it. I have a daughter to protect".
In a later interview on Sky News, Mills reiterated that she did not know when her divorce would be finalised.
'Speak the truth'
"Do you know what? I've got no idea. It's like taking blood from a stone," she said.
"It could take a year, I've got no idea. It's not down to me, it's all down to the hubby."
In another interview, with ITV breakfast programme GMTV, she was asked why she was so unpopular with some of the general public
"The reason people have such extreme feelings about me is because I speak out and I speak the truth and they don't like it," she said.
The high-profile couple separated last May after four years of marriage and began divorce proceedings in July. They have a three-year-old daughter, Beatrice.
