Model Kate Moss is to star in the stage version of TV comedy hit Little Britain in aid of Comic Relief. Moss, 32, will appear in the one-off charity show Little Britain's Big Night on 22 November at the Hammersmith Apollo in west London.
"Kate has natural comic talent... it's a real coup," Little Britain star David Walliams told London newspaper The Evening Standard.
Walliams said Moss's upcoming role would be "a big surprise".
Cult hit
"The thing about Kate is she's funny in her own right so we think it'll be brilliant," he added.
"It'll be a speaking role but I don't want to give too much away," he told the newspaper.
David Walliams and Matt Lucas have taken the show on the road |
Moss will also be at the centre of a fashion photography exhibition at the National Gallery in London next year.
Images of Moss will appear among 100 pictures charting fashion photography since 1990.
Face of Fashion runs from 15 February to 28 May 2007.
Little Britain made its TV debut in 2003. The programme soon became a cult hit - and finally made stars of Matt Lucas and Walliams after nearly a decade honing their comedy talent.
The show first aired on BBC Radio 4 in 2001.
