A pair of outsized knickers from the film Bridget Jones's Diary have attracted bids of 3,900 in an internet auction for charity. But they failed to meet the reserve price on the eBay website.
The underwear, signed by Hugh Grant with the message "Hello Mummy! Lots of love and kisses", were put back on sale after fetching 2,000 last month.
A spokesman for eBay said the result did not necessarily mean the knickers would not go to the highest bidder.
The garment had been put back on sale by Anna Mann together with a jeroboam of champagne to raise funds for the Royal Parks Foundation. The reserve price was not disclosed.
"Sellers set their own reserve price," he said.
"It's possible the seller could accept the last offer they have had for the item.
"But otherwise the options are to re-list the item, to put it back on with a lower reserve or accept that they are not going to get what they want for them."
The underwear attracted 39 bids over the week they were on sale, leading up to 1200 BST on Sunday.
Bridget Jones' Diary, starring Grant and Renee Zellweger, was a huge hit in 2001.
Several scenes from the second Bridget Jones film, The Edge of Reason, were shot in London's Royal Parks, including the fight between actors Colin Firth and Hugh Grant.
