Razorlight have knocked the Scissor Sisters off the top of the singles chart, ending their four-week reign. The rock band jumped 14 places to take the top spot with their song America - the second single from their album.
Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff hit number three with his pop tune Jump In My Car.
His single has benefited from internet and radio campaigns - including one by BBC Radio 1's Scott Mills - to get it to number one.
He beat P Diddy, featuring Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, who was at four with Come To Me, and French DJ Bob Sinclar who reached number five with Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now).
Las Vegas band The Killers fell four places to number six with When You Were Young, while London-based singer Lily Allen slipped one spot to seven with LDN.
Pop star Lil' Chris was at eight with Checkin' It Out, while US singer Justin Timberlake fell four places to nine with Sexyback.
The Killers went straight to the top of the albums chart with the newly-released Sam's Town.
