Hollywood heart-throbs Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brad Pitt have been voted America's most kissable stars in a poll. Love Hewitt, the 20-year-old star of film thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer and TV sitcom Party of Five, picked up almost 22% of the vote in the seasonal survey.
She was closely followed by singer and actress Jennifer Lopez at number two, with 21% of the vote. Fight Club actor Pitt was the male celebrity most wanted under the mistletoe for the second year running. He took 33% of the vote and was followed by Bruce Willis on 19% and Jerry Maguire star Cuba Gooding Jr. on 10%. British actor Joseph Fiennes, who starred in Shakespeare in Love, was in fourth place, with a surprise choice - Austin Powers creator Mike Myers - just making it into the top five.
The runners-up in the female poll include last year's winner, There's Something About Mary actress Cameron Diaz in third place. Rene Russo, who starred alongside Pierce Brosnan in The Thomas Crown Affair, and Austin Powers star Heather Graham were ranked fourth and fifth, respectively. Runaway Bride actress Julia Roberts ranked as the actress or actor Americans would most like to ring in the New Year with, followed by Oscar-winner Tom Hanks. Asked which recording artist they would most like to receive a Christmas carol from, most survey respondents picked country-pop singer Shania Twain, followed by Latino sensation Ricky Martin. |
