Clooney reveals paparazzi scheme
George Clooney
George Clooney's private life is often under the spotlight
George Clooney has announced a plan to confuse the paparazzi.

He told Vanity Fair magazine that he wanted to have a different celebrity date every evening for three months.

"You know, Halle Berry one night, Salma Hayek the next, and then walk on the beach holding hands with Leonardo DiCaprio," 45-year-old Clooney said.

"People would still buy the magazines, they'd still buy the pictures, but they would always go, 'I don't know if these guys were putting us on.'"

The actor-director also praised Cate Blanchett, his co-star in the upcoming film The Good German.

He said: "I will tell you right now - she will win the Oscar. She's the best actor working today.

"Intimidating, in a way, to work with an actor that good."
