Knowles recently won three Music of Black Origin (Mobo) awards

Singer-songwriter Jennifer Armour had alleged that Ms Knowles' song Baby Boy took lyrics from her track, Got a Little Bit of Love For You.

Ms Armour claimed her former manager had earlier sent a demo recording of the song to Columbia Records, the label to which Ms Knowles is signed.

But a judge ruled the songs were "substantially dissimilar".

Proving that there is a substantial similarity is a key factor in copyright infringement cases.

"It's unfortunate that lawsuits such as this one occur, but I am grateful and relieved to have this behind me and I am eager to move on," said Ms Knowles in a statement.
