Dame Helen Mirren is to be honoured alongside Tim Robbins at the Mill Valley Film Festival in California. The British actress, 61, will be interviewed, and a selection of clips from her films will be screened at the festival, taking place in October.
A similar tribute will be paid to Tim Robbins, whose new film Catch A Fire will be shown at the 10-day event.
Dame Helen was recently named best actress at the Venice Film Festival for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II.

Her film, The Queen, will also be shown at the festival, which is in its 29th year.
It opens on 5 October with a screening of The Last King of Scotland, which stars Forest Whitaker as former Ugandan dictator Idi Amin.
In all, 231 films will be shown at the event, which runs until 15 October.
"After 29 years, we're a mature organisation that has developed a reputation nationally and internationally," said festival founder Mark Fishkin.
"When you look at what's happening this year at the festival, it's the culmination of three decades of work."
