British singer-songwriter James Morrison has scored a number one with his debut album, Undiscovered.

The 21-year-old, from Cornwall, knocks Razorlight into second place after two weeks on top of the chart.

In the singles chart, Shakira scores a third week at number one with her Wyclef Jean duet, Hips Don't Lie.

The biggest climber on the chart was Paris Hilton's debut single Stars Are Blind, which climbed 30 places to number five.

Rihanna's Unfaithful is number two, swapping places with Christina Aguilera's Ain't No Other Man at three.

German dance act Cascada are a new entry at number four with their single Everytime We Touch.

Other new entries in the Top 40 include Similou's All This Love at number 20, and The Raconteurs' Hands at number 29.

In the album charts, there are new entries for the Pupinni Sisters at 17, DMX at 22 and Stone Sour at 27.

Madonna, who played concerts in London this week, sees her Confessions On A Dancefloor album climb five places to number 28.
