Former EastEnders star Nadia Sawalha is to co-present a new daily live magazine programme on BBC One. Sawalha, who played Annie Palmer in the BBC One soap, will co-host The One Show with Adrian Chiles.

Consumer show
Since leaving EastEnders in 1999, Sawalha, 41, has become a popular face on BBC One.
Her credits include fronting City Hospital and volunteering to help Comic Relief's fund raising effort by signing up for Celebrity Driving School.
The One Show's editor, Chris Rybczynski, said: "We've chosen her to front The One Show because of her very warm, bubbly personality and ability to straddle both hard emotional issues, current affairs and entertainment."
Chiles, 39, who is the host of the BBC's daily business and consumer programme Working Lunch, was confirmed as one of the presenters for the show last month.
