Hollywood actor John Cusack has obtained a restraining order against a woman he claims has been stalking him for more than 18 months. The Los Angeles Superior Court ruled Emily Leatherman, 31, must stay 500ft from Cusack, his home, car and offices.
The actor's application for the order said Ms Leatherman had stalked him and thrown letters "over my fence in bags with rocks and screwdrivers inside".
Cusack's film credits include Serendipity, High Fidelity and Con Air.
The restraining order requires Ms Leatherman to stay at least 500ft from Cusack, his home, workplace, car and offices.
She is identified as being of no fixed abode, but her mail has been arriving at Cusack's house, according to the actor's application for the order.
Ms Leatherman had also listed the film star's address "as her own during a recent arrest," his statement continued.
Cusack said she also "threatens to commit acts of violence against herself if I do not help her".
